LEONARD M. LINTON


Leonard M. Linton is a principal and co-founder of BYRON LEONARD INTERNATIONAL. Previous executive search experience includes employment with two client retained search firms; as a partner in one, Len has managed and conducted a wide variety of assignments for firms ranging in size from start-ups to multi-nationals. He has conducted over 200 successful retained searches.

During his 12 years as an employee in industry, Len demonstrated expertise in operations, information systems, finance and product marketing. His last two positions in industry were Director of Manufacturing and Group Director of Management Systems for Burroughs, later Unisys. With headquarters and divisional assignments, he acquired a thorough knowledge of the product cycle and the business elements and functions involved in satisfying engineering, marketing and manufacturing business objectives. He has participated in numerous domestic and international product introductions and information technology implemenation and development.

In 1968 he received an MBA from Michigan State University where he was also accepted into the Ph.D. program, but opted for a career in industry. In 1996 he was granted a B.S. in Math and Physics from St. Lawrence University.

He is active in his community as a founder and Director of California Oaks State Bank, is a past president of the Rotary Club of Westlake Village Sunrise, has served as president of the Wellness Community, the Sunrise Rotary Foundation, and sits on the Boards of Directors of two local companies. He is also active with the New West Symphony.
